Registration Assessment ISO 22000:2005

ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management System) is an international standard, aligned with ISO 9001:2000 as well as HACCP (Hazards Analysis and Critical Control Point). It is Applicable to the size and complexity, such as complete supply of chain (Production-Processing-distribution).

It requires that all hazards that may be reasonably expected to occur in the food chain are identified, assessed and controlled. Provides for management potential emergency situations & accidents that can impact food supply.

The requirement for Food Safety policy shall be supported by measurable objectives. The policy shall be documented and communicated through the organization.

It explains for Emergency Preparedness for risk management approach while implementing the FSMS, based on the risk of compromising the Food Safety emergency incidents.

The traceability system shall enable the identification of product lots and their relation to batches of raw material, processing and delivery records. The system shall be able to identify incoming material from the suppliers and the initial distribution route of the product.

The communication is essential to ensure that all relevant Food Safety hazards are identified and adequately controlled at every step within the food chain. This involves the communication both upper level and lower level within the organization.
